Terms & conditions

  1. Elevation Ski School (‘the Ski School’) is a booking agent for independent ski instructors who supply the ski instruction covered by your booking.

  2. Your contract is with the Elevation Instructor (‘the Instructor’) with whom you are booked. A booking is made with the Instructor when reserved via email or online via the Ski School’s Acuity scheduling platform ('the scheduling platform'). When booking via email, you may be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking, which is fully refundable in the event of a valid cancellation. When booking via the scheduling platform, no payment is taken but the lesson(s) will be secured by providing your card details.

  3. To safeguard against the risk of data breaches and to ensure your card transactions are secure, neither the Instructor nor the Ski School store your card details. Instead, any card data is securely held on the Stripe payment platform. This ensures that the Instructor and the Ski School are fully compliant with PCI DSS and are following best practices for card storage.

  4. After booking, you can cancel or reschedule a lesson on the scheduling platform up to 14 days before the due date of the ski lesson(s) (‘the cancellation period’). After the end of the cancellation period, any requests for cancellations or rescheduling must be made in writing to: info@elevationskischool.com

  5. Full and final payment for your booking falls due on completion of the lesson(s).

  6. In the event of a “no show” by the client, full payment for the lesson(s) will be taken using the card details provided when making the reservation online via the scheduling platform.

  7. Neither the Instructor nor the Ski School can be held responsible for conditions outside of their control such as bad weather or piste/lift closure. Subject to our discretion, refunds will not be given in the case of accidents, illness or cancellation for reasons outside of our control. We will, however, be happy to write a letter to your insurance company for any of the aforementioned cases or if the lesson is cancelled due to injury.

  8. Although every effort will be made by the office to keep clients well-informed, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the meeting point and time of the lesson and to make themselves known to the instructors.
